Day 1/365 and 2/365

Ok so for 2011 i am going to try and take a picture everyday for the entire year! I will post them here on my blog. I will try and post them everyday but with 2 little monkeys i am not sure that will be possible. I will do my best! So i have day 1 which is Jan 1st and day 2! It will be neat to see not only what i take pictures but also how my skill develops along the way!!!! Leave any feed back if you like!!!!!

1-5 Months!

NOOOO Frosty!

Well my husband has been really trying this year to get our oldest into the spirit of Christmas! We went and bought a couple of our favorite Christmas movies from when we were kids. We watched one that was called Jingle Bells and he did OK with that. Then the other night we wanted to watch FROSTY....well he did not like that! As soon as it came on he ran from the room. We went and got him and he watched for a few more seconds and as soon as FROSTY came back on the screen he went screaming from the room. I don't know what it is about him but Santa and Frosty do NOT have a place in his heart this year!!!!
Maybe next year lol!!!!

I am feeling festive!!!!!

My youngest son got his 1st picture with Santa this weekend! He was a perfect little angel. He just sat on his lap and sucked his thumb! Now my oldest i tell you was a different story! He knew where we were going and he didn't want to see Santa from the get go. He said "Mommy i don't want to see Santa". I told him  "If you see Santa and sit on his lap so i can take a picture he will give you a present". He said "I don't want any toys from Santa for Christmas"...I said "Well what do you want for Christmas?" he told me "UNDERWEAR"!!!!! lol He is so silly!!!!!

He was a Good Santa!!!

Then i went to see a friend that had a baby and snapped a couple pictures of him!

Just precious!!!!

Gives me the itch.....I know my baby is still little but come on....newborns just make you want more :)

Back to feeling festive, we went all out this year with lights on the house. Our oldest son is really into the lights this year and gets excited when he sees them....so daddy out done himself this time. Mad a big star and tree for the front yard! He did a really good job!!!

So this weekend we went shopping to celebrate my birthday and get a few things off our Christmas shopping list. Well we celebrated and got some shopping done but none of it was Christmas shopping...i really thought i was going to do better this year. But there is always next year right!!!

The Deer

Every morning my son runs to our french door that over look the woods next to our house. "Mommy there they are" he yells at me if he sees "THE DEER". It is our little thing! "Go get the camwra" so i run and grab my camera and take a few shots of the deer! I love it! Its little things like this i wanna remember!

So the other morning my husband was leaving for work and we were all standing at the french doors and telling him goodbye. When he opened the door our cat "KiKi" ran out. Now KiKi is a LOVER. He knows no evil in this world and everyone is his best friend! Anyway he ran to the woods to where all the deer were standing and sat on a log. All the deer were looking at him, my husband and son were looking at me, we didn't know what was going to happen next. Well one of the doe went right up to him and just stood there and was looking at him and i handed my camera to my husband (he had shoes on) and told him to run and take a couple of pictures! So this is what i made of the picture he captured!!! Hehehehe!

Ya i couldn't think of anything else to say in the speech bubbles! But it was right before Thanksgiving so i thought hey this will work!!
